The SRFA Citywide Plan is conducting Handlebar and Walkabout surveys with community members this month to survey existing conditions, and discuss changes that could be make it into the plan.

During the surveys, participants are asked to fill out worksheets “scoring” pre-selected streets within a route. These scores are based on characteristics of the street like safety, presence of bicycle amenities and infrastructure, maintenance of the asphalt, etc. The project team will be comparing the scores across all worksheets, for a bigger picture of which streets in which neighborhoods throughout the city should receive more attention.
